Dr. Magdy A. Habib graduated from Fin - Shames Medical School, Cairo, Egypt in 1965. He did his residency and plastic surgery training at Ein - Shames University, Cairo, Egypt from 1965 - 1968. In 1968, he immigrated to the United States. He did surgical research at Harvard Medical School until 1970. He did his general surgery training from 1970 - 1974 at Springfield Hospital Medical Center, Springfield Massachusetts and St. Luke's Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.
From 1974 - 1976, he did his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at St. Luke's Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio and St. Vincent Charity Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. He started his practice in Spartanburg under Spartanburg Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1976. Dr. Habib's practice concentrates mainly on cosmetic surgery, laser surgery, and breast surgery.
Dr. Habib strives to be on the cutting edge. He has extensive experience in cosmetic laser surgery and has instructed and proctored physicians in the use of laser from the United States and abroad at Spartanburg Medical Center and Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
